Lobbying Report: Chegg x Current Strategic LLC

On August 26th, 2022, Chegg Inc. submitted a 2nd quarter lobbying report, hiring a lobbying firm called Current Strategic LLC to lobby the federal government on the following specific issues:

According to the Lobbying Disclosure Act, lobbying firms are required to file a quarterly activity report (LD-2) for each client they serve. As reported in their lobbying filing, Chegg Inc. hired Current Strategic LLC to lobby two federal agencies: the Senate, and the House of Representatives. The income relating to lobbying activities for this reporting period was approximately $10,000. There was only one lobbyist working on the contract, Patrick Lyden, who was previously the Chief of Staff for the Office of Michael Fitzpatrick.
